The Role
We are looking for a driven customer-centric Account Manager to join our this role you will be the primary point of contact for our commercial corporate and association stakeholders. You will act as a trusted risk advisor balancing portfolio growth with exceptional client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Hub: Serve as the central point of contact for an existing portfolio of dedicated clients.
- Corporate Accountability: Manage and take full ownership of high-value corporate client accounts.
- Brand Ambassador: Actively represent Guild Insurance at key industry conferences and networking events.
- Drive Business Growth: Identify new business opportunities and whole of account solutions.
- Underwrite with Insight: Evaluate industry risks and make sound profitable underwriting decisions which benefit both Guild and our client.
- Negotiate & Influence: Present tailored insurance solutions to complex multi-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate Internally: Work with claims underwriting and product teams to deliver seamless digital solutions.
What You Bring
- Experience: Proven track record in insurance broking underwriting or commercial account management.
- Public Relations: Confidence in public speaking and representing a brand in public industry forums.
- Skills: Strong presentation negotiation and consultative selling skills.
- Acumen: A deep understanding of industry trends channel development and meeting budget targets.
- Communication: Ability to translate complex technical insurance jargon into universal clear advice.
- Mindset: A purpose-driven customer-first approach that aligns with our community values.
