Agile Project Manager (Scrum Master)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our Technology division at the heart of our banking transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to drive agile delivery across multiple teams working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and financial services. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver complex high-impact digital solutions - partnering with internal delivery teams and strategic consulting partners to accelerate innovation improve customer outcomes and modernize our banking platforms. Key Role

• Serve as the Senior Scrum Master acrossmultiple concurrent delivery teams within the Technology function.
• Act as the primary agile liaison betweeninternal engineering teamsand anexternal consulting/delivery partner ensuring alignment on ways of working cadences and delivery commitments.
• Champion agile principles and practices across the programme fostering a culture of continuous improvement transparency and accountability.

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitateall Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement sessions across multiple squads.
• Coordinatecross-team dependencies risks and impediments through mechanisms such as Scrum of Scrums PI Planning or equivalent scaled agile practices (SAFe LeSS or Nexus).
• Coach and mentorteam members Product Owners and stakeholders on agile mindset Scrum framework and lean delivery principles.
• Manage the relationshipwith the consulting partners delivery leads ensuring consistent delivery standards shared Definition of Done and transparent reporting.
• Track and reporton delivery metrics (velocity throughput cycle time sprint burndown cumulative flow) and use data to drive meaningful conversations about team health and performance.
• Identify and remove impedimentsproactively escalating to programme leadership or technology management where necessary.
• Drive continuous improvementby facilitating meaningful retrospectives tracking improvement actions and embedding a culture of experimentation and learning.
• Ensure governance and compliance work within the banks regulatory risk and audit frameworks while maintaining agile delivery speed.
• Support release managementand coordinate deployments with DevOps infrastructure and production support teams.
• Contribute to the Agile Centre of Excellence / Community of Practice sharing best practices and driving agile maturity across the broader organization.

Minimum Experience Level

• 8 yearsof experience in agile delivery roles with at least35 years as a Scrum Masterin large-scale technology programmes.
• Banking financial services or fintechexperience is strongly preferred familiarity with core banking payments digital channels regulatory programmes or platform modernisation initiatives.
• Experience operating withinregulated environmentswith an understanding of compliance audit and risk management obligations.
• Proven track record of managing delivery inmulti-vendor / consulting partner environments including governance of blended onshore/offshore teams.
• Experience withlarge-scale technology transformations such as cloud migration legacy modernisation API platform builds or digital banking rollout

Skills / Competencies

• Agile Expertise - Deep knowledge of Scrum Kanban and scaled frameworks (SAFe). CSM PSM II or SA certification required; advanced certifications preferred.

• Conflict Resolution - Skilled at navigating team conflicts organizational politics and cross-team friction constructively.
• Technical Acumen - Sufficient technical literacy to understand software delivery lifecycle CI/CD cloud platforms and API-driven architectures.
