Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure efficient manufacturing processes quality output and achievement of production targets.
- Lead and develop production teams manage shift operations monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
- Ensure compliance with food safety quality health and safety standards while managing maintenance schedules SOP development supplier performance and capital expenditure requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Food Science Food Technology Production Management Manufacturing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Production Management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience within the food and beverage industry is highly advantageous.
- Working knowledge of HACCP and FSSC food safety systems.
- Proven experience managing production teams and shift operations.
- Strong maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
- Experience managing operational budgets and production efficiency initiatives.
- Strong reporting communication and problem-solving skills.
- Based in Durban or willing to relocate.
