Job Summary

Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Front Office (Hotel) to join our team to oversee all front of house operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maximizing departmental efficiency and profitability. This role manages Front Desk Bell/Transportation Night Audit Guest Accounting Gift Shop and Pool operations.
Responsibilities
Lead daily Front Office operations ensuring service excellence and guest satisfaction.
Recruit train coach and supervise guest services staff.
Manage scheduling payroll budgeting and departmental financial performance.
Oversee check in/out billing accuracy room status and key control.
Resolve guest concerns with urgency and professionalism.
Maintain communication across departments and conduct regular team meetings.
Participate in revenue management meetings and support rate/occupancy strategies.
Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies.
Serve as Manager on Duty as needed.
Requirements
35 years of hotel front desk experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Associate degree or bachelors degree in related fields (i.e. Hotel Management) preferred.
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel systems (Opera PMS POS).
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
