Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accounting Coordinator to support construction project financials including job cost reporting and preparation of project pay applications. This role requires strong analytical skills proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple large projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and compile project pay applications and required supporting documentation for multiple active construction projects
Analyze and maintain job cost reports to support accurate financial tracking and reporting
Create ad-hoc financial and operational reports to support business decision-making
Assist with the preparation of tax-related documentation as needed
Support Project Managers with accounting and administrative tasks to ensure project success
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred
Strong ability to interpret analyze and report on job cost and financial data
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint)
Ability to work at a desk for extended periods and navigate office environments including stairs
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in preparing construction pay applications and supporting documentation for large projects
Prior experience with tax document preparation
Experience using Viewpoint Vista or similar construction accounting software
