The Commercial Director is responsible for leading the companys commercial strategy driving revenue growth and overseeing sales pricing partnerships and market expansion initiatives. This role plays a critical part in aligning business development marketing and customer success efforts to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
The Commercial Director works closely with executive leadership to define strategic priorities optimize commercial performance and ensure the successful execution of go-to-market strategies in a fully remote environment.
This is a fully remote position; however applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to drive revenue growth
Lead and oversee sales business development and partnership functions
Define pricing strategies revenue models and go-to-market approaches
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align market positioning and messaging
Monitor market trends competitive landscape and customer needs
Establish revenue targets KPIs and performance metrics
Analyze commercial performance data and provide strategic recommendations
Build and maintain relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders
Lead mentor and develop high-performing commercial teams
Identify new markets growth opportunities and expansion strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or related field
1015 years of experience in commercial leadership sales management or business development
Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and market expansion
Strong leadership negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale initiatives
Excellent analytical strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and executive presentation skills
Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
Experience in SaaS technology finance healthcare or high-growth industries
Familiarity with CRM and revenue tools such as Salesforce HubSpot or Clari
Experience with global market expansion and international business strategy
Background in pricing strategy partnerships and channel development
Compensation
Annual Salary Range:$170000 $230000 USD depending on experience industry and organizational scale
Additional compensation may include performance bonuses commission and equity participation
