- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 57 years of experience in QA or technical roles with at least one year in a leadership position managing remote teams.
- Industry experience in e-commerce FinTech or subscription-based environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in QA automation tools (e.g. Selenium JMeter/JUnit) release management tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Current hands-on experience with unit testing and quality assurance best practices.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g. Odoo) CRM REST APIs AWS Jira and Confluence.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Proven ability to enforce and advocate for quality processes across the organization.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in QA practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all QA activities including manual and automated testing ensuring a seamless product lifecycle.
- Implement monitor and enforce quality processes to align with organizational and industry standards.
- Identify and address gaps in existing QA workflows driving initiatives for automation and process improvement.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of applications across all environments.
- Own the release management lifecycle including planning scheduling and coordinating releases across multiple environments.
- Develop and manage reporting metrics risk assessments and rollback strategies.
- Monitor releases for compliance with industry standards data security and system reliability.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth and aligned deployments.
- Manage a distributed team of QA engineers fostering a high-performance culture.
- Establish and promote best practices for collaboration and team evaluation in a remote working environment.
