P-Occupational Therapist Assistant

Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant

Salary: $28-$34 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical developmental or emotional disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with evaluations developing treatment plans and implementing therapeutic activities to help patients improve their daily living and work skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients functional abilities and limitations

- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist

- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients physical cognitive and emotional functioning

- Monitor and document patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to improve daily living skills

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment and progress

- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the provision of occupational therapy services

Qualifications:

- Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program

- Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and techniques

- CPR certification preferred
