Summer Food Program Open Positions:
- 1- Meals on Wheels Cook - $13.50 per hour
Starting Employment Date: June 1 2026
Ending Employment Date: July 31 2026
Posting Date: May 1 2026 Application Deadline: May 15 2026
Duties & Responsibilities: Meals on Wheels Cook 10 hours per week
- Provide excellent customer service to all program attendees.
- Responsible for prep distribution and cleanup of hot meals.
- Responsible for packaging and distribution of packaged meals
- Responsible for Inventory
- Knowledge of food service safety and sanitation requirements
- Ability to lift carry pull push boxes and/or containers weighing up to 50 pounds
- All other duties assigned
- Extended Criminal Background Check Required
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation required.
- Good Attendance Record
*Continued staffing will be dependent upon participation.
*All selected individuals MUST attend a training session prior to employment on May 26 2026.
*Hours will be as follows:
Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
