YSS is looking for Preschool Program Assistant to join our Kids Clubteamaka the people who turn everyday afternoons into games laughter and wait that was actually fun moments. Were looking for someone who is energetic fun and able to naturally connect with kids while staying reliable patient and attentive. Youre not just filling timeyoure making a real impact. Youll help kids feel safe build confidence and have fun while picking up skills that actually matter in the real world.

If youre dependable positive and ready to show up for kids (even on the days they have a lot of energy) we want to hear from join us. Do something meaningful. And have some fun while youre at it.

What Youll Do...

No two days are the same but heres the vibe:

Hang out with kids before/after school and during breakskeeping things fun active and safe
Lead games crafts and activities (get ready to be asked to play tag a lot)
Help plan cool stuff for kids to donot just keep them busy
Serve snacks and meals (snack hero status unlocked)
Keep things clean and organized (because glitter gets everywhere)
Build solid connections with kids teammates and families
Track attendance and basic infonothing wild just staying on top of things

Translation: youre part role model part activity leader part where did that kids shoe go detective.

Qualifications

Were all about helping young people feel valued confident and ready to take on the world. To make that happen we look for team members who will embrace our YSS core values - Commitment Collaboration Compassion Innovation Integrity and a Can Do Spirit.

The Basics (Non-Negotiables)

Youre at least 16 years old
Youve got (or are willing to get) CPR/First Aid within 3 months
You genuinely like being around kids (they can tell if you dont )

Bonus Points If You Have These Extras

Have experience babysitting coaching tutoring or working with kids
Can naturally connect with kids (aka they think youre cool)
Bring good energy and actually want to be here
Dont panic when homework shows up and need to help out
Show up on time and have reliable transportation

Youll Really Stand Out If You

Care about making a difference and helping all kids feel included
Treat everyone with respectno matter their background or story
Speak more than one language (Spanish is a big plus!)
