Engineering Manager, Growth Engineering

Growth Engineering builds the product surfaces and systems that turn that mission into measurable outcomes for Late Stage Experience team focuses on members who are already part of Chime. Most growth work is about acquiring or activating new users. This team works further down the journey where the dynamics are subtler the signals are richer and the playbook is still being written. Youll lead a team of engineers shaping how that work gets done.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $199000.00and up to $275000.00 Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus competitive equity package and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher depending on your location skills qualifications and experience.

In this role you can expect to

• Lead and develop a team of engineers fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture
• Partner cross-functionally to define and execute on growth strategies for the teams focus area
• Drive experimentation strategy and execution by building the systems and habits to test learn and iterate quickly
• Make the calls on speed vs. durability in a fast-paced experiment-driven environment
• Contribute to technical direction and architecture decisions that support scalable growth
• Help shape the roadmap and long-term vision for Growth Engineering with potential to expand scope over time

To thrive in this role you have

• Managed engineering teams working on growth conversion retention or other consumer product problems
• Experience running experimentation programs including test design analysis and iterating on results
• Strong track record of partnering with Product Design and Data to drive data-informed decisions
• Experience hiring and growing engineers in ambiguous fast-moving environments
• A bias toward ownership and action over process
