Lube & Tire Technician

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs effectively and efficiently in accordance standards of operation.
• Vehicle Services perform lubrications oil changes basic maintenance (e.g.: bulb wiper blade and filter replacements etc.) battery testing and installations
• Tire Services perform wheel removal balancing patch/plug repairs changing mounting and installation
• Perform NYS Inspections in accordance with all regulations
• Assist with all general shop duties ensuring the shop is in excellent condition and maintained to standards for cleanliness
• Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with safety standards
• Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures OSHA standards safety and environmental codes and industry regulations including consistent use of required personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must have a valid New York State Drivers License
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
• NYS Automotive Inspectors license preferred but not required.
• Must be available to work Saturday hours.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend kneel squat stand and lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) as needed
• Spends 100% of work-day standing
