The Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology provides high-quality evidence-based and patient-centered care within their area of specialization including the management of lymphoma and related hematologic malignancies. This role supports the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care while fulfilling teaching research and academic addition this role actively contributes to the education and training of learners including medical students residents and fellows and participates in departmental and divisional academic activities.Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide medical care to lymphoma patients in an outpatient clinic and share in the rotation of inpatient coverage including weekend and on-call coverage.
- Train and educate medical students residents and fellows in patient care settings as well as in formal and informal group education formats.
- Provide support for the growth and development of multidisciplinary hematology/lymphoma teams.
- Attend Hematology/Oncology conferences journal clubs etc. Present teaching lectures to residents medical students fellows.
- Support the departmental and divisional research efforts including clinical trial accrual and development and research mentoring.

Required Qualifications
Certifications/Licenses:
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine
- BC/BE in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience:
- Interest/Expertise in Clinical trial development.
