Job Title: Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III Location: Hyannis MA 02601 Pay Rate: $32 $36 per hour Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM 11:30 PM) Schedule: Every Other Weekend Rotating Holidays
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through accurate specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in phlebotomy and EKG procedures along with excellent patient interaction and clinical coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and collect clinical specimens while ensuring proper patient identification
Educate patients on specimen collection procedures and testing requirements
Conduct non-invasive cardiac diagnostics including EKGs Holter monitoring and stress testing
Accurately document patient data and test results in electronic medical records
Ensure all lab requisitions and documentation are complete and compliant with standards
Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and address patient concerns professionally
Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate workflow and patient care activities
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment following PPE protocols
Monitor inventory levels restock supplies and report shortages as needed
Assist in training and mentoring new staff and students
Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvement
Deliver excellent patient service while maintaining professionalism at all times
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
EKG Certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
