Job Summary
Join the City of Sioux Falls and play a key role in shaping the future of South Dakotas largest and fastest-growing community. As a Business Development Specialist youll be at the center of high-impact projectscoordinating economic development programs supporting financially structured development initiatives and helping bring transformative downtown and community development projects to life. From Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and Business Improvement Districts (BID) to redevelopment of City-owned property youll work on efforts that directly influence the citys growth vitality and skyline.
This role is grounded in program coordination and management with meaningful opportunities to contribute to projects from concept to completion. Youll analyze financial feasibility support agreement development ensure compliance and help continuously improve how the City delivers development programs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in business public administration planning or related field and two (2) years experience in community development planning fiscal management or economic development is desirable; or any such combination of education experience and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid drivers license.
