Job Summary

The Assistant Professor position will participate in research activities and departmental activities assigned by the Chair and/or Section (Division) Chief in the Department. The research is expected to span intersecting areas including lung biology and tissue engineering. This position will build a research program focused on using engineered lung and trachea
tissues to model human disease and seek principles of cellular interactions with their environment using single-cell techniques as a primary output. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering & have at least two years of postdoc experience.



Candidates must be Board Certified / Board Eligible and qualify for a Connecticut license. Candidates in subspecialty areas must be fellowship addition candidates should have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and the commitment to make important contributions to the field of Anesthesia.
