For candidates who are still in the process of attaining certification please note that the North Plainfield School District participates in the NJDOE Limited Certificate Program. This program may allow you to work in a full-time role while completing your final certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Biology or a related subject area (advanced degree preferred)
• New Jersey Teacher of Biology
• Strong knowledge of the NGSS/New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and 3-Dimensional Learning
• Data-informed instruction ï½ Ability to analyze student data to drive instructional decisions and support student growth.
• Collaborative mindset ï½ Ability to co-teach and work effectively with colleagues to support student success.
• Instructional expertise ï½ Proficiency in lesson planning curriculum development assessment classroom management and the use of diverse and creative educational resources.
• Growth mindset ï½ Commitment to ongoing professional development and instructional improvement.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates preferred but not required

Salary:
$69630 (minimum) to $103470 (maximum) commensurate with experience
