Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract at Eastern Montana Veterans Home. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Long-Term Care (LTC) setting helping patients improve mobility and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Requirements:
- Active Montana PTA license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Experience in SNF or LTC settings preferred
