Job Summary
White Settlement ISD is seeking a dynamic and student-focused HighSchool Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. This role is critical in supporting campus operations student achievement and a positive school culture. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who is passionate about fostering a safe inclusive and academically rigorous environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in leading instructional programs to improve student learning outcomes.
Support teachers through coaching professional development and curriculum implementation.
Promote a positive school climate by managing student behavior discipline and engagement.
Ensure compliance with state and district policies including attendance and academic accountability.
Build strong relationships with students staff parents and the community.
Oversee campus safety procedures and emergency preparedness.
Collaborate with the principal in managing school operations staffing and budget planning.
Qualifications:
Texas Principal or Mid-Management Certification required.
Masters degree in Educational Leadership Curriculum & Instruction or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in middle school teaching and/or administration.
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Texas education laws student discipline and instructional best practices.
