Job Summary
Hourly Pay Range:
$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.Position Highlights:
- Position: Patient Support Assistant
- Location: Northbrook IL
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
- Hours: Monday-Friday rotating start times between 6:45AM-5:00PM
- Required Location: May need to travel to Skokie when needed
What you will need:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: N/A
- Experience: One year of related experience is required; previous administrative experience working in a medical office is preferred; Insurance knowledge preferred
- Skills: Minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute required
What you will do:
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Collect co-payments
- Complete patient registration
- Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
- Check in and check out patients
- Verify insurances
