Job Summary
Position: Sr. Manager / AGM – Production (OSD)
Location: Hyderabad
Industry: Pharmaceutical (USFDA-approved OSD Manufacturing)
Reporting To: Site Head
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Production Leader to head OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing operations at a USFDA-approved facility. The role requires strong expertise in regulated environments particularly handling USFDA audits and working within CDMO/CMO setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations for OSD manufacturing (granulation compression coating packing).
- Ensure production targets are met with high efficiency quality and compliance.
- Drive adherence to cGMP USFDA and other regulatory standards.
- Handle and support USFDA audits regulatory inspections and compliance readiness.
- Manage technology transfers scale-ups and commercial manufacturing for CDMO/CMO projects.
- Optimize production processes to improve productivity reduce cost and minimize deviations.
- Ensure proper investigation and closure of deviations CAPAs and change controls.
- Coordinate with QA QC Engineering and Supply Chain for smooth plant operations.
- Lead mentor and develop large production teams; ensure strong shop-floor discipline.
- Maintain documentation compliance as per regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Education: / / (relevant field)
- Experience: 12–18 years in OSD manufacturing
- Must have hands-on experience in USFDA-approved plants
- Exposure to USFDA audits (mandatory)
- Must have experience working in CDMO/CMO manufacturing site (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of OSD processes: granulation (wet/dry) compression coating packaging
- Proven leadership experience handling large teams
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and documentation
