Sr Software Engineer – Backend

About the Role 

We are looking for an Senior Software Engineer to help in developing high quality secured and high performant application. As a Backend developer you will have a major role to play in the software product development by analyzing the requirement deciding approach and developing the application. As part of this role you will be doing development write unit test case high level test case and deliver quality application. 

Job Description 

• Develop high-quality applications. 

• Participate in sprint planning task estimation and user story creation. 

• Lead design and implementation of complex features with guidance from technical lead  

• Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews in implementing new features 

• Design and implement testable and scalable code. 

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic. 

• Utilize Github repository for source control. 

• Successful collaboration with frontend developers. 

• Accurate estimation and timely completion of tasks. 

• Contribute to process improvements to drive efficiency and efficacy. 

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or equivalent from good reputed university. 

• 5years of experience (real world not academic). 

• Experienced with back-end programming languages (NodeJS). 

• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript web stacks libraries and frameworks. 

• Strong foundation of relational (Ex: PostgreSQL) database systems with complex SQL queries. 

• Experience using Source Control such as Git. 

• Knowledge on any web server/app server configuration and deployment on AWS platform. 

• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection. 

• Good understanding of algorithms data structures performance optimization techniques and object oriented programming. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
