Job Summary
Core responsibilities
- Complete required month-end close activities like accounting reconciliations & reporting around revenue close.
- Partner with team members across multiple offices and other partners (Finance Legal IT and Sales Ops) while monitoring relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure accurate Revenue Accounting.
- Implement controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with revenue recognition process.
- Identify and implement process improvements especially by leveraging new technologies such as AI.
- Support UATs on enterprise project implementations.
- Ensure SOX compliance & support Audits.
- Work with a multi-national team collaborating to promote efficiency effectiveness and teamwork.
- Fluent in English
Top 3 5 skills education & experience must-haves
- 4 years of experience with a background in a Big 4 public accounting firm or SAAS based multinational companies preferred.
- CA/CPA qualification is a must.
- Working knowledge of current literature related to ASC 606 preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work within a team to expedite completion of projects with other teams including FP&A Sales Marketing and Information Systems.
- Experience with MS Office software including Excel Word PowerPoint & BI.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
