Job Description
About the Role
Acciona is seeking a GIS Analyst to provide highquality spatial data management analysis and mapping support across a major renewable energy infrastructure project. Reporting to the Lead Digital Engineering this role is critical in ensuring accurate reliable and compliant geospatial information supports engineering land access environment construction and stakeholder activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage project GIS datasets ensuring data accuracy consistency and version control
- Develop update and analyse spatial data to support engineering design land access and construction planning
- Produce maps spatial analysis and visualisations for project teams and stakeholder engagement
- Support landholder liaison and property access planning through GIS analysis and mapping
- Integrate GIS data with survey design environmental and construction datasets
- Support compliance with planning approvals environmental conditions and information management requirements
- Contribute to reporting audits reviews and asset information handover activities
Required Skills and Competencies
- Tertiary qualification in GIS Geospatial Science Planning Surveying or a related discipline
- Experience using GIS platforms such as ArcGIS QGIS or equivalent including online mapping environments
- Strong understanding of spatial data accuracy metadata governance and data standards
- Ability to produce clear accurate spatial outputs for both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Location and conditions
This is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.
