They are now looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join their senior leadership team and play a key role in maintaining and building on the exceptional standard of care this home is known for.
What Our Client Is Looking For
Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above - essential
Proven experience in a deputy management role within a care home setting - essential
Experience within learning disabilities or a similar specialist setting
A strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
Confident knowledge of safeguarding procedures and referral pathways for adults at risk
A genuine ability to engage with and understand the needs of service users
Strong leadership and communication skills
A compassionate person-centred approach to care and management

Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operational running of the service
Build meaningful relationships with residents taking the time to understand their individual needs and preferences in order to deliver truly personalised care
Lead and support the care team in the delivery of high-quality person-centred care and support
Identify and follow the correct referral pathways for safeguarding adults and abuse ensuring concerns are escalated promptly and appropriately
Ensure the home operates in full compliance with CQC standards and all relevant regulatory requirements
Support staff supervision development and performance management
Assist in the development implementation and review of individual care plans
Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence taking full responsibility for the running of the service
Promote a culture of dignity respect and independence for all residents
