MAJOR DUTIES: The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager works under the direction of the VP of Finance and Operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the administration of the revenue cycle in the electronic health record payer contracting provider enrollment the daily revenue cycle tasks of the department and related administrative fulfilling these duties the incumbent performs the following duties independently:
- Support proactive management of agency payer contracts including building productive relationships with payer contacts.
- Oversee the position of Provider enrollment and provide support as needed.
- Provide department orientation training and oversight to team members on appropriate procedures and practices.
- Meet with assigned staff on a regular basis for supervision and perform regular reviews with staff regarding their performance and ability to meet the metrics of the position.
- Produce accurate standard and custom reports including accounts receivable collections and billing reports.
- Respond to management director and supervisor inquiries regarding financial- revenue questions related to their departments.
- Provide leadership and training in all billing-related processes and configuration in the agencys Electronic Health Record systems.
- Assist with coordination with various funding sources.
- Perform regular reconciliation of patient and other payer accounts.
- Ensure regular occurrences of Billing Audits are completed and reported to Quality Assurance.
- Identify areas of need within the revenue cycle process and facilitate resolution of revenue cycle issues with various departments and the agency leaders.
- Identify patient provider department and insurance company concerns requests and problems related to billing issues and communicate them to the billing team as appropriate.
- Identify trends in billing and follow-up maintaining working knowledge of state and federal billing guidelines to identify ways in which our staff can expedite resolution of accounts and identify delays in processing.
- Attend Management Committee and other agency development meetings as required.
- Complete required training.
- Maintain strict confidentiality; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Lifeline Connections policies procedures and contracts.
- Work as part of a team.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
- Bachelors degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Possess a minimum of five years experience in healthcare/non-profit billing and collections.
- Knowledge of substance use disorders and mental health treatment required.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required.
- Must be highly organized detail oriented possess good analytical skills and be able to work well under pressure.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Great attendance.
- Ability to work well with others.
GUIDELINES
Requires that the incumbent relies on specialized training and/or equivalent experience and performs duties in accordance with Washington Administrative Codes Federal regulations governing the confidentiality of patient files and Lifeline Connections Policy and Procedure Manual.
PERSONAL CONTACTS
Contacts are with the members of the treatment team patients significant others of the patients representatives of various community agencies specializing in the treatment of substance use and mental illness and related community representatives including hospital personnel lawyers probation officers and other court officials. All personal contacts are carried out in accordance with federal and state laws dealing with the confidentiality of patient records.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the essential functions of the job the employee is regularly required to sit speak clearly hear and use hands and fingers to manipulate writing utensils and keys on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand walk reach with hands or arms stoop kneel crouch or lift and/or move maximum of 15 lbs.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Working hours are spent indoors in offices or other meeting rooms. Participation in staff teambuilding and development activities will be required.

Salary: $67750-$75000 Annually
