Shipping Technician

Description

Cardinal CG is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving worker at our Northfield MN this position you will be responsible for reading production schedules and maintaining product flow to our high volume production line.

Shift Available

Night Shift 2:50pm 11pm (12 Hour Rotating Schedule)

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules prioritize and determine product needed and feed coating line with glass according to paperwork specifications.
• Prepare and move racks to working areas as determined by production schedule.
• Prepare and organize box closing areas based on product specifications.
• Ensure all required paperwork is attached to rack/A-frame prior to staging for box close and shipment.
• Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure efficient production flow.
• Ensure safety measures are taking place at all times.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pass pre-employment background physical & drug screening process.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Wear PPE as required including steal toe work boots.
• Effective problem solving and organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Read write and understand standard and metric measurement units.
• Ability to operate and use hand tools power tool and measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of computer software including Windows/Word/Excel.
