Job Summary
Kalman & Company Inc. is seeking Order Fillers for an opportunity supporting the Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany GA. This position falls under the Department of Labors Service Contract Act (SCA).
Order Filler Responsibilities Include:
- Perform a full range of warehousing activities to include but not limited to receiving storing issuing reconstitution inventorying and shipping bulk and individual gear and equipment.
- Conducts the accurate packing and shipping of PGI material.
- Receiving and filling customer orders.
- Picking merchandise from warehouse shelves packing merchandise checking packed merchandise against orders for accuracy and keeping track of inventory and shipments.
- Support public affairs consultants serving as project leads for various environmental-focused communication projects.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Order Filler Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in performing warehouse duties such as packing shipping receiving filling customer orders picking merchandise from warehouse shelves packing merchandise checking packed merchandise against orders for accuracy and keeping track of inventory and shipments.
- Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
- Must be detailed-oriented demonstrate good time-management skills and manage workload with minimal oversight
- The ability to obtain forklift safety certification
- The ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Kalman & Company Inc.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
