Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives expand the customer base and strengthen relationships within the wood-based and related industries. This role offers the opportunity to work within a larger group structure while driving business growth at the operating company level.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and international markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors wholesalers retailers and key clients
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets
- Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activities and product opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market demand
- Prepare and present proposals quotations and business plans
- Represent the company at trade shows exhibitions and client engagements
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development sales or a similar commercial role
- Experience in wood-based products furniture building materials or related industries is an advantage
- Strong negotiation communication and stakeholder management skills
- Independent results-oriented and commercially driven
- Exposure to export markets and international trade is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally
Additional Information
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Reporting to: Senior Management (Managing Director)
- Newly created position due to business expansion
