Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives expand the customer base and strengthen relationships within the wood-based and related industries. This role offers the opportunity to work within a larger group structure while driving business growth at the operating company level.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and international markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors wholesalers retailers and key clients
Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets
Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activities and product opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market demand
Prepare and present proposals quotations and business plans
Represent the company at trade shows exhibitions and client engagements
Requirements
Proven experience in business development sales or a similar commercial role
Experience in wood-based products furniture building materials or related industries is an advantage
Strong negotiation communication and stakeholder management skills
Independent results-oriented and commercially driven
Exposure to export markets and international trade is an added advantage
Willingness to travel locally and internationally
Additional Information
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
Reporting to: Senior Management (Managing Director)
