Finance Manager

Company Background

Job Descriptions

• Manage and oversee the full set of accounts including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts ensuring effective cash flow management and financial stability.
• Develop and manage budgets financial forecasts and cost control measures.
• Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements financial performance reports and management reports.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for management review and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including taxation audit requirements SST and other regulatory obligations.
• Liaise with external auditors tax agents banks and relevant authorities when required.
• Review and improve internal controls accounting procedures and financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor project financial performance including construction project costs budget variances and profitability.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business planning and strategic decisions.
• Ensure accuracy completeness and timeliness of financial data and reporting.
• Lead and guide the finance team in daily accounting operations and best practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA CPA MIA).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance/accounting with relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Strong experience in handling full set accounts and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge and experience in cash flow management budgeting forecasting and P&L analysis.
• Familiar with construction accounting practices including project costing progress claims and cost control.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements including tax audit SST and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: RM7000 - 10000
