• Day Shift: 4x10-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Weekend requirement: Discussed during interview

Compensation

• Travel Rate: $67 $70/hour ($2512 $2625/week) based on experience
• Local Rate: $55 $60/hour ($2062 $2250/week) based on experience

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech with strong cardiac catheterization experience. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining high clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Perform scrub technologist duties within the Cath Lab
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields instruments and equipment
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to clinical changes
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
• Float within scope to meet facility needs including nearby affiliated facilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred)
• Experience as a scrub technologist in a Cath Lab setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high-acuity environment
• Willingness to float to nearby facilities within a 20-mile radius

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA required
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred
• RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technician) preferred

Additional Requirements

• First-time travelers accepted
• On-call participation required
• No block scheduling available
• Must complete time-sensitive onboarding modules promptly after confirmation
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission; late requests may not be approved
