Position Overview

Tekberry is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to support our client within Business Affairs IT. This role provides first-level technical support to end-users across a wide range of systems ensuring efficient resolution of hardware software and network-related issues.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support via phone chat remote desktop and messaging
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues
  • Install configure and maintain desktop systems devices and peripherals
  • Document all interactions and resolutions in ITSM ticketing systems
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed
  • Monitor and manage system alerts queues and basic system processes
  • Apply IT security and operational best practices
  • Ensure users have appropriate system access and resources
  • Support general IT operations and assist with additional tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in IT support or service desk environments
  • Experience with Windows/Mac operating systems and common enterprise applications
  • Familiarity with networking basics and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow Remedy Zendesk etc.)
  • Experience using remote support tools
Key Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tickets/tasks
  • Understanding of IT security best practices
Work Environment & Requirements
  • Primarily onsite role in Redwood City
  • Standard office and IT support environment
  • Frequent sitting computer use and phone communication
  • Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 40 lbs)
