Pay Grade/Pay Range:Minimum: $44200 - Midpoint: $55300 (Salaried E6)

Department/Organization:204241 - Music

Normal Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings & weekends as necessary

Job Summary:The Event Coordinator oversees the implementation execution and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus. Creates invitations. Selects sites. Creates seating arrangements. Negotiates with florist caterers event space staff print shops etc. Manages on-site contract staff students and etc.

Additional Department Summary:Supervision and coordination of all details related to the presentation of on-campus and off-campus musical events by the School of Music faculty students guests and other special events sponsored by the School of Music. Additional responsibilities could include creating materials to be used in advertising social media direct mail and other printed materials. Evening nights and weekend work required.

Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree and some event planning or coordination experience; OR associates degree and two (2) years of event planning or coordination experience; OR high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of event planning or coordination experience.
