Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to support clinical operations and deliver high-quality patient this role you will assist during dental procedures ensure patient comfort maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to both clinical and administrative functions within the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms prior to patient appointments
• Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Assist the dentist during procedures including instrument handling and material preparation
• Take and process dental X-rays as required
• Educate patients on oral hygiene treatment plans and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Support front desk tasks such as scheduling and basic administrative duties
• Monitor inventory and restock dental supplies and equipment
• Maintain a clean safe and welcoming clinical environment
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications

Required:

• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant
• Knowledge of general dental procedures and chairside assisting
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or at least 1 year of hands-on experience
• Valid X-ray certification

Preferred:

• 12 years of relevant experience
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
