Position Title: Dental Assistant

Duration: Up to 52 Weeks (Flexible Based on Candidate Preference)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to support clinical operations and deliver high-quality patient this role you will assist during dental procedures ensure patient comfort maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to both clinical and administrative functions within the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms prior to patient appointments
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during procedures including instrument handling and material preparation
- Take and process dental X-rays as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene treatment plans and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
- Support front desk tasks such as scheduling and basic administrative duties
- Monitor inventory and restock dental supplies and equipment
- Maintain a clean safe and welcoming clinical environment
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
Required:
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of general dental procedures and chairside assisting
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or at least 1 year of hands-on experience
- Valid X-ray certification
Preferred:
- 12 years of relevant experience
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
