MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure that all equipment plant building and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Perform HVAC repair maintanance and installation
- Perform administration duties within the technical function
- Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality
- Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality
- Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:Appropriate trade test-certified N4 Mechanical / Millwright
DESIRED EDUCATION:N/A
ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION:Trade test certificate and practical experience in HVAC
DESIRED CERTIFICATION:N/A
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:More than 5 years of artisan (Fitter turner millwright air-conditioning artisan) experience and multi-skilled
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:More than 3 years Mediclinic experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Trade-specific skills and knowledge proficiency relative to the role
- Trade-specific policies procedures guidelines and relevant legislature
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards
- Occupational Safety Health and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Multi-Skilled (Hospital environment)
- Mentoring of technical team members
