Appointment of successful candidates will be done in line with the relevant MSP career path.
To perform all artisan functions related to petrochemical plant instrumentation and control system maintenance operations support and fault finding.
- An ability to read and interpret instrument loop drawings control logic diagrams data sheets and associated technical documents.
- Utilization of and adherence to RCA procedures.
- Compliance to the MOC process for changes to existing plant and equipment.
- Gaschromatography overhaul inspection and calibration experience
- DCS experience (Honeywell)
- ESD experience (Honeywell)
- PLC experience (Siemens Yokagawa Mitsubishi Rockwell Allen Bradley)
- A practical understanding of IS and SIL
- A practical understanding of EX and hazardous area classifications
- QA/QC experience with instrumentation installations.
- Gr 12 Certificate with Maths Science and English literacy.
- NQF Level 4 instrument trade test certificate/Red Seal Certificate.
- Drivers license (code 08).
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a qualified artisan
