Senior Manager Transportation & Delivery

Job summary:
Oversee transport ops cost safety and vendor performance to ensure timely efficient and compliant delivery services.

Job Responsibilities:
To establish and responsible for planning and strategizing transport management to achieve cost saving fleet optimization operational efficiency on time and quality services meeting overall company objectives and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for transport P&L and billing POD management with transporters/forwarding agent reduction of damaged shipments and annual audit to transporters/forwarding agents.
Responsible for daily/monthly relevant dispatch/transport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Responsible for vehicle maintenance program monitoring transport safety and security measures to prevent any breakdown accident and hijacking.
Responsible for transport qualifications and quality system compliance with GDP requirements.
Responsible for successful transport project implementation customer feedback / survey and channel distribution analysis meeting the service needs.
Responsible for transport vendor selection RPF and service level agreement with transport partners.
Responsible for evaluating and training for transport staff including drivers ensuring adequate knowledge skills and competency level meeting the management objectives.
Provides constructive recommendation to enhance overall dispatch transportation transport safety & distribution management.
To undertake any duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Assistant General Manager and/or the management from time to time.
To lead coach and be responsible for performance of subordinates in performing their roles & responsibilities effectively.

Job Requirements:
Minimum eight (8) years of managerial level in managing warehouse / transportation preferably in FMCG
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Logistics Management or related field
Knowledge in area of custom shipping and local transport and fleet management
A driver and team player with good leadership communication skill and strong sense of customer centric mindset
Proactive resilient good analytical and problem solving skills
Able to provide constructive inputs and sound solutions to enhance warehouse & transportation safety security and quality management
Good command in written and spoken English Supply chain management
Maintaining relationship in diverse environment
Strong negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Pro-active with good analytical and problem solving skills
