Responsible for DKSHs eCommerce activity in Malaysia for our Consumer Goods Business Units. Working alongside a team of dedicated digital talent the Assistant Manager eCommerce plays the role of key account management & strategic planning data analytics business & relationship development. Bringing many of the worlds favorite brands to all key eCommerce platforms and continually deliver the best online shopping experience to consumer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end eCommerce performance including sales availability pricing listings content listing ranking on-site visibility off-site traffic generation order management order fulfilment after-sales service etc
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and generate sales revenue on behalf of clients across e-retailers and marketplaces
  • Manage reporting of sales and projected sales/margin forecasts. Evaluate trends and form meaningful conclusions to facilitate strategic decisions
  • Liaise with eCommerce partners to build relationships and network understand category and brand performance across channels and advise on strategies to drive and achieve business objectives
  • Work closely with the cross-functional and cross-BU teams to ensure efficient and effective execution leveraging support resources and standard operating procedures to ensure a reliable and consistent customer experience aligned with best-practices (e.g. Modern Trade)
  • Manage annual negotiations including trading terms and conditions to facilitate sales agreements and achieve targeted margins
  • Conduct business reviews and develop deep insights and actionable recommendations from post-evaluation analyses and incorporate into customer strategies
  • Develop monitor and recommend improvement initiatives on business processes customer services and new techniques (category management scanning etc)
  • Formulate and execute digital marketing demand-generation initiatives including but not limiting to on-site activity social media display EDM SEO and SEM
  • Manages inventory (ensure stock balancing between online and offline) promotional mechanism (e.g. bundles creation discounts activation vouchers etc)
  • Manages trade claims recovery from clients within contractual terms and full compliance of APMS in A&P control
  • Support in business development efforts in developing eCommerce solutions for clients growing pipeline for new accounts/clients and nurture and grow existing DKSH digital client account
  • Lead coach and develop a team of eCommerce professionals to achieve business and functional objectives
  • Conduct regular performance reviews provide constructive feedback and support individual development plans

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Business or a related degree or any relevance
  • Minimum six years of working experience
  • Minimum one to two years experience in a people managerial capacity
  • Preferably from Platform E-enabler or FMCG background
  • Digital savvy with knowledge of eCommerce business models operations technology
  • Experience managing eCommerce channels
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Management consultancy experience is a plus
  • Plus point if familiar with using SAP
  • Good finance and account knowledge and hands-on experience on business process design process architecture and process levels
