BMW Genius Job Description:

Position Overview: The BMW Genius will be responsible for the overall appearance workflow and customer delivery experience of the BMW of Myrtle Beach Sales Department. Provide expert guidance technical support and education to BMW Sales and Service clients regarding the features functionality and technology within their vehicles. Your passion for BMW vehicles strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical information will enhance the overall ownership experience for our customers. This position will begin your automotive career and we will provide you a career path as well as invest in your ongoing education and personal growth within our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:
  • Welcome customers and create a positive first impression by showcasing enthusiasm and expertise.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs preferences and possible technical questions related to their BMW vehicles.
  • Conduct a condition pre-service walkaround video of the customers vehicle using our app. Identify any vehicle damages or potential service needs by simply pointing it out in the video. Apply vehicle hang and key tags and ensure the customer is introduced to the proper BMW service advisor
  • Properly organize the BMW Sales Inventory and merchandising.
  • Conduct New Sales Deliveries with Sold Client.
  • Schedule Encore Deliveries with Sold Clients.
  • Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with customers and enhance their satisfaction with the brand.
  • Product Knowledge and Demonstration:
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of the features technology and functionality of various BMW models.
    • Demonstrate and explain vehicle features to customers highlighting advanced technology safety systems infotainment options and convenience features.
    • Assist customers in setting up and personalizing their vehicles advanced settings and functions.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical assistance to customers by addressing their questions concerns and troubleshooting challenges related to vehicle systems and technology.
    • Collaborate with the sales and service department to find solutions to technical issues and concerns.
  • Education and Workshops:
    • Participate in ongoing BMW education courses and workshops
    • Create informative materials guides and resources to help customers optimize their vehicles capabilities.
  • Digital and Online Support:
    • Assist customers in navigating BMWs digital platforms including mobile apps and online resources.
    • Provide guidance on remote services over-the-air updates and online connectivity features.
  • Feedback and Collaboration:
    • Collect feedback from customers and relay insights to the dealership helping improve customer experiences.
    • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to identify opportunities for customer engagement and satisfaction improvement.
