BMW of Arlington is seeking a highly skilled Flag Technician with advanced bumper-to-bumper diagnostic and repair experience to join our award-winning service team.
The successful candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic abilities a commitment to quality workmanship and the drive to maximize productivity in a fast-paced customer-focused dealership. While BMW experience is a plus we welcome technicians from other premium automotive brands who are eager to learn and grow with BMW.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on vehicle systems including engine transmission drivability suspension steering brakes HVAC and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex bumper-to-bumper vehicle concerns utilizing diagnostic equipment schematics technical service information and testing procedures.
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify recommended maintenance and repair needs.
- Document diagnostic findings repair procedures and recommendations clearly and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with service advisors and shop management to communicate repair status and technical findings.
- Maintain productivity and efficiency standards while delivering high-quality repairs.
- Stay current on evolving automotive technologies including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting challenging repairs and support fellow technicians as needed.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Minimum 3 years of automotive technician experience.
- Proven bumper-to-bumper diagnostic experience with the ability to identify and repair complex vehicle issues.
- Experience in a dealership or highline/luxury automotive environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical diagnostics drivability concerns and modern vehicle technology.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams technical service bulletins and repair procedures.
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- Own professional automotive tools required to perform repairs.
- Strong work ethic attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
