Your mission

As a Senior Software Developer / Software Developer at Finago you will be a key contributor in a product team with full responsibility for its part of the solution; from idea and development to production and operations. Youll work closely with your teammates to build reliable scalable systems that customers depend on every day.

Youll join a modern engineering environment with a strong focus on quality ownership and learning. Autonomous teams work with short decision paths and youll work with modern automation frameworks and tools while having the opportunity to influence the quality practices of the products you build.

You will become part of our growing 20-person Finago KL team which includes roles such as Tech Leads Senior Software Developers Software Developers and Test Automation Engineers. Youll work in close collaboration with colleagues across our Nordic offices in Finland Sweden and Norway operating as one distributed engineering team.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Developing robust scalable backend services and APIs
• Contributing to technical design decisions and architectural discussions within the team
• Writing high-quality code with strong test coverage and a focus on security
• Actively participating in code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborating closely with the Tech Lead Product Manager Design and QA
• Continuously improving development processes tools and workflows

This is a permanent full-time hybrid-model position located in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (KLCC Common Ground). We are currently working in a co-working space but we are looking for an office near our current location. The move is expected to take place later this year.

Depending on the product youll work with technologies such as:

• TypeScript / C# .NET Go

• Cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
