The role sits within the CEO Office under the umbrella of Corporate Office Execution and focuses on supporting the planning coordination and delivery of high-profile executive engagement activity across Swifts global stakeholder ecosystem.

This role will combine strategic content development executive briefing support as well as some cross-functional programme management with the aim of preparing aligning and effectively positioning the CEO and other senior leaders across key external engagements. Working across a fast-paced and high-visibility environment the successful candidate will help drive the operational rhythm behind CEO Office External Engagement priorities and support delivery of best-in-class engagements across the financial services industry.

The successful candidate will have strong judgement exceptional attention to detail intellectual curiosity and agility and the capability to operate effectively under pressure while executing against CEO Office priorities in a highly ambiguous environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality briefing materials stakeholder profiles strategic summaries presentations and executive messaging for senior leadership engagements.
  • Support preparation for meetings international events industry forums bilateral engagements and strategic external interactions involving senior executives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input from teams across the organisation to ensure executive materials are accurate concise strategically aligned and delivered to tight timelines.
  • Help manage and coordinate CEO Office priorities ensuring effective tracking of deliverables actions dependencies and stakeholder engagement activity.
  • Drive programme management and execution support across selected strategic initiatives and executive engagement priorities.
  • Partner with senior internal stakeholders across strategy communications public affairs regional teams product legal and business functions.
  • Support the management of complex executive schedules and engagement planning across multiple time zones priorities and stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging developments issues and strategic themes relevant to executive activity and stakeholder engagement.
  • Operate with discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive or confidential information.

Candidate Profile

  • The successful candidate will be a highly-organised and strategically minded professional with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • They will demonstrate:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to distil complex topics into clear executive-ready materials.
  • Strong programme management and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Confidence operating in senior stakeholder environments and interacting with executive leadership.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure navigate ambiguity and deliver high-quality outputs to demanding timelines.
  • Strong judgement professionalism and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to work across a highly matrixed international organisation.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to rapidly absorb unfamiliar subject matter.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or a Masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in corporate communications public relations journalism or a related field preferably within the financial services or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content.
  • Demonstrated experience in media relations and building relationships with journalists.
  • Proficiency in managing digital communication platforms and tools (e.g. social media management content management systems).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
