Your mission

As our (Senior) Software Developer your purpose is to design develop test and maintain software solutions that meet or exceed the needs of our customers. You work handson with modern technologies and contribute to high standards of:

• Code quality and maintainability

• Performance scalability and reliability

• Security and longterm sustainability

We are looking for both Front End Developers and Full Stack Developers for our Finago Mepco product line:

• Front End: React and TypeScript

• Full Stack: React and TypeScript with C# .NET

You will become part of our growing 20-person Finago KL community working alongside Tech Leads Software Developers and Test Automation Engineers. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across our Nordic organization including close collaboration with our teams in Finland.

You will act as a proactive quality ambassador and quality owner helping shape how features are tested and delivered while ensuring our products meet the high standards our customers expect. You will report to the local Engineering Manager.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Designing developing testing and maintaining highquality efficient and secure software solutions
• Collaborating with Product Owners to translate requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable development tasks
• Actively participating in Scrum ceremonies such as planning daily standups refinements retrospectives and reviews
• Conducting code reviews and participating in design discussions while advocating best practices
• Mentoring and supporting less experienced developers through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development tools workflows and ways of working
• Proactively identifying and communicating risks tradeoffs and dependencies
• Ensuring scalability maintainability performance reliability and security throughout the software lifecycle
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across components or services
• Exploring new technologies and approaches including AI to continuously improve product quality and developer experience

This is a permanent fulltime hybridmodel position located in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (KLCC Common Ground). We are currently working in a coworking space but we are looking for an office near our current location. The move is expected to take place later this year.

Youll work with modern technologies in an international environment while contributing to software used by thousands of this role youll have real influence on how our products are built and evolved.
