FP&A Analyst Manager

Job Description

This opportunity sits within a diversified investment and operating group with interests across technology infrastructure telecoms and energy. The finance function operates as a central hub supporting multiple business units giving you exposure to a wide range of commercial and operational environments. The team is growing and looking to strengthen its FP&A capability to support more structured reporting forecasting and decision-making.

What the role is about

Youll join a group-level finance function but work closely with one of the business units partnering with senior finance leaders to improve reporting budgeting and financial visibility. This role is ideal for a CA(SA) with a few years experience who enjoys working with numbers asking questions and turning financial data into meaningful insights.

What youll be doing

• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports budgets and forecasts
• Support CFO / FD with financial modelling and performance analysis
• Identify variances trends and risks across financial results
• Improve reporting processes and help standardize FP&A across the group
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist with ad-hoc analysis projects and strategic initiatives

What were looking for

• CA(SA) qualification (essential)
• 13 years post-articles experience in commercial finance/ FP&A
• Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting
• Confident working with large data sets and Excel
• Analytical detail-driven and comfortable challenging numbers
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
