Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) MS/Tele

Location - Columbia SC

Employment Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift: Day Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients with cardiac conditions administering treatments and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment planning implementation evaluation)
• Monitor patients on telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed
• Participate in rapid response and emergency situations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
• Float to other units within scope of competency as required

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific non-compact where applicable)
• BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications (required)
• Strong experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
