And as the Sourcing Lead (Decor) youll lead the execution of the Decor category sourcing strategy driving supplier performance and operational excellence to support Articles continued growth.

In the Sourcing Team the Sourcing Lead (Decor) translates category direction into clear actionable sourcing plans. Youll drive supplier performance lead negotiations and serve as the subject matter expert for Decor suppliers and sourcing execution.

While we sell to the North American market we work closely with a number of our manufacturing partners throughout Asia. As a result we have an office in Thao Dien Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam where we currently have around 70 Particles (people of Article) working.

That means youre trusted to explore solutions you believe will work best (youre the expert after all). Youll do all this while growing your skills within a company that is redefining the furniture industry.

What Youll Do:

Youll be part of a team of 3 sourcing professionals focused on developing sourcing and supplier strategies analyzing market intelligence and partnering cross-functionally to deliver results. Youll be in the office typically 3 days a week with approximately 30% travel.

Partner with the Sourcing Senior Manager to execute strategic sourcing initiatives for Decor supporting scalability and growth.
Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive supplier evaluation framework covering product capabilities production capacity performance management quality standards cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing favorable terms and optimal lead times while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with finished goods suppliers through consistent communication collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as the subject matter expert on supplier performance by analyzing market dynamics monitoring décor trends and evaluating supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
Drive sustainability initiatives within lighting by implementing eco-friendly sourcing strategies that improve battery efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Act as the primary liaison for Decor Sourcing strengthening cross-functional collaboration with Technical Product Development Quality Category Management and Supply Chain teams.
Lead and develop the Decor Sourcing team by fostering alignment ownership and a culture of operational excellence. Support direct reports in solving execution challenges and navigating day-to-day sourcing activities.

Who You Are:

Qualifications:

7 years of experience in sourcing procurement and supply chain management
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business or a related field.
Strong understanding of décor product technical requirements compliance standards and production efficiencies (including Home Textiles Lighting and Housewares). Experience in lighting is an asset.
Proven experience in supplier negotiation development and contract management.

Technical Skills:

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on supplier performance and cost trends.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage complex or challenging situations.
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets ERP systems and sourcing tools.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to prioritize effectively and delegate when appropriate.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced occasionally high-pressure environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
