Trinity View is offering a full-time position for a Prep Cook to join our Dining Services Team. We value dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing quality food and excellent service to our residents.

Compensation

Pay Range: $16$21 per hour

Weekend Shift Differential Available

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cold foods such as vegetables salads fruits and beverages as well as ingredients for recipes following instructions from the Cook or Assistant Director of Dining Services.
• Set up meal service areas staff dining room and ensure supplies are replenished as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns and offering alternatives when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen storage and dishwashing areas including tasks like mopping dishwashing and sanitizing workstations.
• Stock and organize diet kitchens cabinets refrigerators and supplies to ensure efficient operation.
• Record equipment and food temperatures and assist with audits to support kitchen efficiency.
• Attend training sessions and practice new skills to enhance job performance.
• Adhere to all safety standards and facility policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Completion of some high school coursework is required; a diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions for recipes and checklists.
• Strong customer service skills with the capacity to multitask quickly without compromising quality or safety.
• Previous experience in food service is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk reach stoop bend lift and carry throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in environments with extreme heat or cold.
• Capable of working with cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Must be free from infections or diseases.
