Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individuals relevant knowledge skills and experience. SUMMARY
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting in the kitchen to ensure efficient food production and high-quality dishes. This role supports the culinary team by maintaining organization cleanliness and food safety standards while preparing items according to recipes and specifications.
- Prepare ingredients including chopping slicing dicing and measuring
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency
- Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation as needed
- Maintain a clean organized and sanitary work environment
- Properly store food and label items according to food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to leadership
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow all health safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support team members to ensure timely service

- Must be atleast 18 years of age
- High school completion or equivalent required
- Food Handler Certification required/ willing to obtain
- Ability to read write comprehend and speak English
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition subtraction multiplication and division
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
- Flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push pull carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
