Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. The PA will deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician while exercising a high degree of clinical autonomy. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Examines patient takes medical history records results and makes preliminary diagnosis or decides on follow-up procedures.
- Administers and orders diagnostic tests such as x-rays electrocardiograms and blood work and interprets test results.
- Performs therapeutic procedures such as immunizations injections suturing and wound care and managing infection.
- Exercises professional judgment regarding consultation with supervising physicians concerning appropriate treatment.
- Develops and implements patient care plans instructs and counsels patients and records progress.
- Prescribes medications to the extent allowable by state guidelines and clinic regulations.
- Provides general health education regarding matters such as proper diet family planning emotional problems of daily living and health maintenance.
- Assists physician with emergency treatments and more complex procedures.

Compensation: $93037 - $12564 annually

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated competency in providing care across the lifespan including neonates infants children adolescents adults and geriatric patients.
- Strong clinical judgment communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols.
Education and Experience:
- Completion of a four-year physician assistant baccalaureate program and one year of clinical training; or
- Completion of a two-year accredited physician assistant program (requiring two years of undergraduate study) plus two years of post-program clinical training.
- Current state licensure based on successful completion of the certifying examination.
- Ongoing compliance with continuing education requirements including 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and successful completion of the recertification examination every six years.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand walk and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Regular exposure to chemicals bloodborne pathogens and patient bodily fluids requiring adherence to safety and infection-control protocols.
