Your Role in Supporting Our Community:
As a Program Analyst Affordable Community Housing you will play a critical role in advancing Vancitys commitment to affordable housing across our communities. Working closely with the Manager Affordable Community Housing Program you will support the full lifecycle of grant and loan funding from intake and due diligence through to approval monitoring and annual reviews. This role is ideal for an analytical detailâoriented professional who brings strong financial and impact analysis skills enjoys working collaboratively with community partners and is motivated by contributing to meaningful social outcomes.
This is a Fullâtime Permanent role based at our 312 Main head office and will report directly to the Director Social and Economic Innovation. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement you will be expected to be onâsite for events and business demands
How Youll Make an Impact:
- Supporting intake and development of grant and loan requests by responding to inquiries and meeting with prospective applicants
- Conducting due diligence including financial and impact analysis to assess funding requests
- Preparing clear wellâstructured grant and loan recommendations for approval
- Collaborating with applicants funders lenders and internal partners to advance funding opportunities
- Supporting data entry and ongoing data management for approved grants and loans
- Responding to grantee and borrower requests for amendments extensions or changes to funding terms
- Carrying out annual reviews of the grant and loan portfolio including monitoring development status and repayment timelines
- Participating in outreach education and marketing activities to build a strong and diverse funding pipeline
What Youll Bring to the Team:
- A postâsecondary degree in a relevant field such as finance economics public policy urban planning or community development
- A minimum of 35 years of experience in program analysis lending granting or related financial or community investment roles
- Demonstrated experience conducting financial analysis and assessing funding or investment proposals
- Strong written communication skills with experience preparing recommendations or reports for approval
- Experience working with data management systems to support financial tracking and impact reporting
- An understanding of affordable housing community development or social impact initiatives

What Youll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of$64500 to $72450 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications skills previous experience and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program subject to program eligibility requirements.
